Bringing Clinical Trials Home
The Local Impact:
Greenville currently lacks sufficient Alzheimer’s clinical trial access, forcing families to travel hours to Charleston or Columbia for potentially life-changing treatments. This creates barriers for our most vulnerable populations who need these opportunities most.
Our Goals:
- Immediate Access: Eliminate 4+ hour travel barriers for local families
- Early Detection: Expand screening and diagnostic services in our community
- Cutting-Edge Care: Bring the latest treatments directly to Greenville
- Community Support: Create a network of hope for affected families
The Numbers That Drive Us:
- Over 16,000 Greenville County residents live with Alzheimer’s
- Only 1 in 5 people with memory concerns receive proper evaluation
- Clinical trial participation can extend quality of life by 2-3 years
- $500,000 can establish a full clinical trial program locally
A Daughter's Promise, A Community's Mission
“My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s five years ago, and watching her struggle breaks our hearts. Traveling hours for clinical trials isn’t feasible for us. Having cutting-edge trials here in Greenville would give us hope and keep her close to family. We need a place to make this happen right here in Greenville, SC.”
Every family affected by Alzheimer’s deserves hope close to home.
